The Department of Commerce introduced  B.com(Honours) programme in the academic  year 2019 with the objective of the students  to pursue CA Professional course concurrently doing B.Com graduation. The well structured syllabus of B.Com(Honours) was framed for the students to become professionally competent commerce graduates. The curriculum envisages  conceptual knowledge with practical exposure to the students by well qualified and experienced faculty members along with Adjunct  faculties practicing Charted Accountants. The B.Com(Honours) course emphasis in-depth learning in  Taxation, Accounting, Finance and Business advisory services  to pursue Higher studies in National and International Institutions. This course enables the students to attain high number of Placement, Internship, ICITSS & SPOM (Conducted by ICAI). It also provide opportunities to become Chief Professional accounting officer, Professional Accounting, Firm Partner, Finance Director, Audit Manager Financial analysist and corporate leaders. The Department promotes CA Professional course by producing more number of Auditors. The B.Com(Honours) Programme has contributed significantly to the overall development and employability of the graduates. Since 2019, the Department has shown steady growth  in the academic performance towards  the sustainable  development of this Institution.
