About Department
The Computer Application and Information Technology Department started the BCA program in 2002 and later introduced the BSc IT program in 2008. The department focuses on providing students with a strong foundation in computer Applications and information technology through a balanced mix of theory and practical learning. The program emphasizes programming, software development, database management, web technologies, and computer networks, helping students develop problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills. With well-equipped computer laboratory, experienced faculty, and project-based learning, the department prepares graduates for careers in the IT industry or for higher studies such as MCA and other advanced computing programs.
