PARTICIPANTS OF MIME SHOW ON “SOCIAL AWARENESS” |
Women’s Studies Centre of Thiagarajar College organized a Mime Show on 06.03.2020 on the theme “Social Awareness”. The students, with multifaceted skills, portrayed in their language less performance, the ignorance of the society regarding the Government schemes such as Swach Bharath, Digital India, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao etc. They also expressed their silent protest against the subjugation of women in the patriarchal society. Their positive outlook on the society instilled a ray of hope among all the students. It was a team event and around 150 Part V – Gender Studies students of the college participated in the programme.
