PARTICIPANTS OF THE “MUSHROOM CULTIVATION” |
The Centre organized an extension programme on “Hands – on - Training” 20.02.2020.. Around 70 rural women of Silaiman village benefited out of this programme. Dr. V. Subathra Devi, Director, Women’s Studies Centre welcomed the gathering. Dr. D. Pandiaraja, Principal gave the presidential address. Mr. Shahul Hamid, Panchayat Union President of Silaiman Village delivered his felicitation. Dr. B. Sadhana, Assistant Professor of Botany, Thiagarajar College, demonstrated and offered a training of “Mushroom Cultivation” and Dr. S. Elamathi, Assistant Professor of Chemistry, Thiagarajar College, trained the rural women in “Making Fragrance Dhoop”. Healthy lunch was provided for the participants, who amply thanked the management and the Centre for the career enabling initiative.
